I received my massage therapy education from the Richmond Academy of Massage in Richmond, VA in 1998 and then passed the certification exam of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.  Virginia state licensed and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 1999,  I opened my private practice, A Brook in the Way, in December 2006 after working about 8 years as an independent contractor.  I became Board Certified with NCBTMB in February 2015.

I believe we are designed with innate healing abilities and that receiving relaxing and therapeutic massage can help bring the body into balance and allow one to rejuvenate body, mind, and spirit.

Hours are by appointment only on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am to 6pm and a possible option on Friday and Saturday.  The office is closed on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday.   Rates:  30 minutes for $40,  45 minutes for $55,  60 minutes for $70,  90 minutes for $95. Add $5 for Bamboo Fusion. Payment by cash, check, or credit/debit.
